To get the Hail Mary achievement or trophy in Red Dead Redemption all you need to do is get a kill at 35 yards or farther with a tomahawk. Start up a private free roam match with a friend and have him stand quite aways back and start tossing tomahawks. If you’re unsure at how far 35 yards is just kill your friend with a gun and have them tell you how far away the kill was. The tomahawk is really inaccurate at a distance so this may take a few tries to get the aiming and distance down.
