Now onto our useless mention of the week A Morons Test. I first intended for this to be the WTF!?! Game of the week but, there wasn’t much to it, other then a bunch of stupid questions that try and confuse you. For some reason I thought the XNA community games were supposed to be games? If that’s true why do we keep getting stupid clock and aquarium programs mixed in? Anyways, check out the videos and try not to let your brain explode from failure overload.

The object of the game is to battle hoards of stick figure ninjas of all sizes. That’s pretty much it oh yeah and try not to die. To help you survive you can also try to get the pencil bubble that falls randomly to summon ninja destroying drawings like a bowling ball or snake monster. So there it is the WTF game of the week. You can play this game or watch this video (thanks Jay). Either one is just as entertaining as the other.

This week’s WTF!?! Game of the Week is The Exterminater, a game (if you really want to call it that) made by Stoner Studio. Yes, Stoner Studio where I’m pretty sure they don’t answer emails anytime before 1 in the afternoon. So the point of the game is to kill flies, not the lady bugs because they are awesome, which I finally realized later on, guess I should have read the instructions first. So, yeah, that would be the gameplay… There is no music in the game just the sound of your fly swatter smacking bugs. I really don’t know what else to say about this so called game besides WTF!?! You can definitely tell by the credits Benjamin did all the work although you have the critasizer Sam, who uh criticized, duh! Then you have Dan who apparently didn’t do shit and probably smoked all their stash. (damn freeloaders) So anyways, there you have it this weeks WTF!?! Game of the Week!

This weeks WTF!?! Game of the week is Welcome to Mexico, a game that has music (not Mexican music, or at least I’ve ever heard of.) so annoying you’ll want to pull your hair out. The gameplay really isn’t all that bad but the controls suck, it felt like I had just broke out the Atari and attempted to play Pitfall again, only Pitfall wasn’t that bad. Seriously, why do we keep getting XNA games that look like they were made in the early 80s? Do we not have the technology available to us to create decent looking games or what? Anyways so you collect these coins so you can unlock doors to finish the level. Some levels though have peppers in them, that must give you a super fart power, cause after consuming them, you can all of a sudden jump to the top of the screen like your ass is on fire. Oh did I mention there is a shitload of yellow in this game plus your a ninja so that pretty much makes up for everything else. No seriously, you can wall jump like a bad ass mexican ninja. Those aren’t new in case you were wondering, ninja’s didn’t start in Japan like everyone thought they started in Mexico, dammit. This weeks WTF!?! Game of the week is XNA Community game “Game about a soup factory.” The title is rather misleading since the game has nothing to do with a soup factory, well it kind of does, you’re in a square box and you shoot objects that resemble coffee mugs, bananas (could have been a pepper) and other food like objects or utensils so yeah… It wasn’t quite as bad as that shit title I played last week, but still its a wtf game either way. So you have to shoot an object to change it to another object so you can destroy the objects as shown on your miniature looking chess board, only you won’t know this because the creator decided not to put any damn instructions in the game. Keep in mind I had played the game a few times so I could figure out what was going on before I recorded the video. I continued to play the game until the trial expired thinking something cool was going to happen eventually but sadly it never did. You just continue to move around the box and shoot stuff trying to rack up your score, the end… So there you have it, this weeks WTF!?! Game of the week!

Also I’ve decided that instead of just picking on the community games, I’ll start showcasing the good ones once a week. I’ll help everyone separate the shit titles from the good ones without gamers having to painfully find out for themselves.

Yes I dug into the Xbox Live Community games yet again, I’m not quite done picking on these guys yet. This week’s WTF!?! Game of the Week is: Time Flows But Does Not Return, a very fitting title especially since, after I got done playing it I’ll never get my lost time back, or be able to erase it from my memory for that matter. This is a game that doesn’t want to tell you how to play it; it wants you to figure that out on your own. You won’t know that if you dive right into the game and start playing either, you actually have to go and read the damn creators notes at the start screen if you want to figure anything out. Even then you have to read five pages of text to get anything out of it. Anyways, after pressing buttons over and over trying to figure out wtf I was doing I said screw it and quit. I then went to the start screen and read the creators notes to see if there was maybe a haha got your stupid ass note or something in there. So, apparently you’re supposed to get to these little colors and press different buttons. I think its supposed to be like Simon says, only if Simon was an asshole that didn’t want to tell you how to play and made his game, with graphics just a step up from the Odyssey 100. So there you have it, this week’s wtf!?! game of the week!

This weeks WTF!?! Game of the Week (This week brought to you in HD quality awesomeness!) is yet another XBLA XNA community game Barf and Beer! I’m telling you there is a gold mine of these games there. Anyways so your supposed to out drink your opponent and try not to puke. The first round I couldn’t figure out wtf was going on so I lost. I could easily see this game being a fun drinking game, on a Friday night, while getting hammered with friends. Forget quarters! Turn on Barf and Beer! So there you have it this weeks WTF!?!
